I'm Jana Baecker -
Sustainable, digital & print designer by trade. Photographer & educator by heart. German by blood. Minnesotan by choice. I graduated with a MA in Sustainable Design from Minneapolis College of Art & Design in 2017 and a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 2013. I work with clients in various industries, designing websites and print materials. I previously taught German and web design classes. At UMD I currently teach Typography courses. Apart from my love and appreciation of design and art, I am a wife, mama times 4, coffee-enthusiast, runner, snow lover, traveller for life, and a gal who is passionate about sustainability. I am originally from Nürnberg, Germany, which is a beautiful city in Bavaria, but nowadays I reside in the Duluth Minnesota area. |
